Teething is the process in which a baby's teeth comes out through the gums. It usually takes place between 6 to 24 months of age. Most infants get their first teeth between 4 and 6 months old. The first teeth to start appearing are mostly the lower middle teeth.

Some of the symptoms include tender and swollen gums, and irritability. The infant during this time may want to place things or fingers into the mouth in order to reduce discomfort. The pain can last for around a week.

Some of the commonly reported teething symptoms Irritability, Drooling / Skin Rashes, Coughing, Biting and Gnawing, Cheek rubbing and ear pulling, and Diarrhea.

If your baby is teething, there are several questions that come to your mind. Some of these include How to Soothe Child When He / She is Teething, teething irritation, teething pain, what foods to be given etc.
