5 Tasty and Healthy Puree ...
Making my three-year-old eat the right fruits and veggies has been my single most stressful parenting issue. A straight 'no' to healthy carrots or papaya on his plate is all I used to get every single time I served it. While I knew there wasn't any magic formula to make my son eat all healthy fruits and green leafy veggies, but there was a solution.
Here are the healthy puree recipes which worked for me:
1. Carrot Puree:-
Carrot is an excellent source of beta- Carotene.
Method:-
✅ Wash the carrots properly.
✅Peel and dice them into small pieces.
✅Boil/Steam them
✅ Blend them until it becomes a smooth paste
✅Carrot puree is ready to serve.
2. Papaya Puree:-
Papayas are a very nutritious fruit. They are also a good source of fiber and folic acid.
Method:
✅ Wash and peel the papaya.
✅Slice it into two halves
✅Scoop out the seeds.
✅ Blend it into a smooth paste.
3. Pears Puree:-
Pears are rich in fiber. They are a great fruit to offer. It acts as a remedy to help alleviate baby's constipation.
Method:
✅ Wash and peel the pears.
✅Slice it into small dices
✅ Blend it into a smooth paste.
✅Ready to serve
4. Apple Puree:-
It is truly said- " An apple a day keeps the doctor away".
The Fibre in helps in easy digestion. It cures stomach disorders and maintains bowel regularity.
Method:-
✅Wash, peel and dice the apples into small pieces after removing the seeds.
✅ Place the chopped apple in a saucepan and pour half-inch of water and bring it to boil.
✅ Lower down the heat after sometimes
✅ Simmer the gas until apple chunks are tender for about 10-12 minutes.
✅ Remove the apple chunks from the saucepan and mash them well with a masher.
✅You can also sprinkle the cinnamon powder onto the mixture if you want.
✅ It's ready to serve.
5. Sweet Potato Puree
Sweet potato is a good source of Vitamins, Beta Carotene as well as Potassium.
Method:
✅ Wash and peel the sweet potato
✅Boil or steam them
✅ Blender until smooth
✅ Sweet Potato is ready to serve.
