OMG! 4 Students Went Missing After Being Inspired By This Movie

Children, not always, but often get influenced quite easily, and what they see online can have a profound impact on them. This is quite evident from the recent case from Andhra Pradesh.

4 ninth-grade students from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, have gone missing after allegedly  being inspired by Telugu movie, Lucky Bhaskar, starring Dulquer Salmaan. Read to know more. 

Lucky Bhasker was released on 31st October 2024 and performed phenomenally at the box office. The movie revolves around the struggles of the protagonist, who starts his journey as an ordinary bank employee but gains a lot of wealth through various risky investment schemes and money laundering. 

CCTV footage recovered from the hostel shows the boys - Charan Teja, Raghu, Karthik, and Kiran Kumar - running towards the gate and escaping the premises of their hostel in Maharanipet. The boys are believed to be inspired by Bhaskar's journey to becoming wealthy that they decided to follow his steps. Before leaving, they reportedly told their friends that they would be back only after they make enough money to buy cars. Search operations have been started to find the missing boys.
