This Is How Radhika Apte Balanced New Mommy Duties & Stardom At The BAFTAs

Indian theatre and film actress Radhika Apte is known for her unconventional roles and versatile acting skills. Radhika took to her social media to share a beautiful candid moment from behind the scenes. In the picture, she can be seen pumping breastmilk for her little one. 

The picture was captioned:

“And now my BAFTAs reality #breastfeeding #postpartum #breastpump. I have to thank Natasha @tashtash07 for making it possible for me to attend the BAFTAs. She scheduled the itinerary around my breast-pumping timings. She not only accompanied me to the washroom to express milk but more importantly brought me champagne in the loo. It’s hard as is to be a new mum and work, this level of care and sensitivity is rare in our film industry and much appreciated.”

Well, this is not the first time Radhika is seen balancing work and motherhood. Her welcome post for her little girl also garnered a lot of attention as she could be seen breastfeeding her baby while simultaneously working on a laptop. The caption read,

Radhika and her husband Benedict Taylor, British Violinist and Composer,  welcomed their first child, a baby girl, after 12 years of marriage, in December last year. She announced her pregnancy at the BFI London Film Festival in October, surprising all her fans with her baby bump.
