Masaba Gupta And Satyadeep Misra Announce Pregnancy

Fashion designer and actor, Masaba Gupta and actor Satyadeep Misra recently announced their pregnancy. Masaba and Satyadeep married last year in an intimate court marriage ceremony. 

Masaba’s Pregnancy Announcement

Masaba and Satyadeep took to Instagram on Thursday to announce the pregnancy. In the post, she shared an emoji of a pregnant woman, along with a picture of her and Satyadeep sitting on the floor. Her caption said, “In other news - Two little feet are on their way to us! Please send love, blessings and banana chips ( plain salted ONLY) #babyonboard #mom&dad”.

The post quickly garnered an outpouring of love and congratulations from her friends, fans and well-wishers. 

Masaba’s mom, Neena Gupta shared her joy of becoming a grandma by sharing the same picture with the caption, "Humare bacchon ka baccha aane Wala hai. Isse zyada Khushi ki baat Kya ho sakti hai (Our children are going to welcome their child. What can be happier than this). 

Actor Kareena Kapoor commented saying, “Congratulations best girl best momma to be and to dear Sattuuu *emoji* too happy to hear this”, while Bipasha Basu said, “Awwww congratulations. Babies are the best !!!!”. Other celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra also congratulated the couple on the news.

Past Statement On Having A Baby

In a past interview with Indian Express, Masaba said how she would never have a baby out of wedlock. “Being a modern woman, do I have the guts to have a baby out of wedlock? Never. I don’t want to take that extra pressure, and put a child in that space,” she had said. 

Masaba’s parents Neena Gupta and Vivian Richards, never got married and Neena Gupta raised Masaba as a single mother.
