6-Year-Old Shidra Khatun reportedly went missing from her locality in Shriram Nagar in Vasai East, on Saturday, March 1st, 2024. Shidra’s father, Salman Mohammad Ramzan Khan had dropped her home from school and then left for work. The little girl was even seen playing outside her home in the evening, but later went missing.

The family reportedly looked for her and when they couldn’t find any traces, they went through the CCTV footage of the nearby shops, which revealed something shocking. In the video, Salman’s 14-year-old nephew could allegedly be seen taking his daughter with him, but it wasn’t clear where.

The devastated family reached out for police help. The teenager again repeated the same story. Police asked him to take them to the spot where it all happened. Upon searching the area, police found little Shidra, lifeless, with strangulation marks on her neck. Reportedly, the marks suggested that Shidra was strangulated by someone with small hands.

The boy was again questioned, however, this time, his answers were not consistent. Eventually, the boy gave in and confessed to killing his 6-year-old cousin. Wondering why? Because he couldn’t tolerate the love and attention she was getting.
