Food blogger and content creator Rajani Jain, aka Chatori Rajani, who is widely known for her relatable cooking videos tragically lost her only son, Taran Jain, in a traffic accident. To honour his memory, Rajani bid Taran a final farewell in a way that reflected his never-dying spirit. Read to know more.
The heartbreaking news, which left all her followers in shock was disclosed by Rajani’s team in a post that read “With a shattered heart, we share the unbearable news that our beloved gem, Taran Jain, has passed away on a road accident,” Taran, who was often seen in Rajani’s video was a 17-year-old full-of-life teenager who loved to spread positivity and happiness.

Rajani extended an open invitation asking people to join Taran’s Shlok Sabha which was held on February 19 at Terapanth Bhawan, Chhatarpur. In her special speech for her son, Rajani shared,
“We are here celebrating, holding a farewell party for him. But, we are only doing what our child loved the most - Friends, music, flowers, and happiness on everyone’s face. He didn’t like seeing tears in someone’s eyes. He loved everyone and anyone. And today, this party is not only for Taran, it is for all of his friends. I can’t even explain what they are going through. Even though my child has left, he has given me so many children, who are there to hold my hand. This party is for all of them so that they can understand that he is here and today, all of them will tell him ‘Bro you were the best and you are the best.’ Taran was very different. He used to connect with everyone. He loved to love and spread smiles. If I say it, it might sound like I am being biased but, when his friends will say it, you will understand how Taran really was”
During the farewell party, as Rajani called it, Taran’s friends took the stage to share memories and talk about him. There were some special musical performances too. The event which was attended by hundreds of people was a reflection of Taran’s liveliness.
