Abandoned At Birth, This Indian Baby Will Be Flying To America Soon. The Reason Will Surprise You
Story behind it

Fate has its own way of surprising us as it can change lives in the blink of an eye. And if you do not believe in fate, this story of a 3-year-old boy from Lucknow might change your perspective.

Three years back, a newborn baby was found abandoned in a garbage pile in Lucknow. He was taken to Sanrakshan Grih, from where he will now be heading to America with his new family.

The baby, whose name has not been revealed, was adopted by an American Couple and what makes it even better is that the adoptive father is the CEO of a renowned American Firm. The little one will now be raised in America and lead a lavish life, surrounded by luxuries and comfort.

The adoption procedure and all related formalities are complete. Once the child's passport is ready, he will be flying overseas with his new parents.

According to the data shared by Former Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani in Rajya Sabha in 2023, there had been a 25 percent increase in the number of orphans and abandoned children in India in a span of just 3 years, from 2020 to 2023. The number of such children spiked from 4,521 in 2020-21 and 5,106 in 2021-22, to 5,663 in 2022-23.

As per the World Economic Forum, “There are 29.6 million stranded, orphaned and abandoned children in India, out of which, according to CARA, not even 500,000 make it to institutionalised care and just 3000 to 4,000 get adopted annually.”
