Playschool - Is Your Todd ...
If you look at it, choosing a playschool should not be that difficult but then there are certain things to be kept in mind while deciding on one particular school from the rest of the lot. So what are those things that will separate one playschool from the others and win parents’ approval in everything? Here are few things to be kept in mind while choosing a playschool
Distance matters: In this case it really does. It is always better to choose a school that is near your home so that the travel time is less and hence the less chances of child getting tired during travel.
Search: Once you have taken the decision to put your baby in a playschool, the first step is to start searching for a suitable playschool. One critical point that will help you shortlist a play school can be its’ location. The thumb rule in this case is that the playschool should be just a couple of minutes away from your home/workplace etc. so that in case you need to reach out to your child, you can do so without any hassles and of course without the traffic jams !
Research- Once you have a list of shortlisted playschools , start researching on the various factors which will help you take your decision .
are some of the areas that should be thoroughly looked upon before taking any decision
Step 3:- Ask questions :- During this whole process do not at any point hesitate to ask questions –be it your family, playschool owner or even your partner, ask as many questions as you have and absolutely clear all the doubts in your head. I have seen parents visit the play schools multiple times to make sure they are making the right choice. In this digital age, we are well-connected to various mom groups on social media sites and mobile groups. Ask for recommendations and feedback because a fellow parent who has been there can give you the best insight.
Teacher-Student: As your child will grow and go in the higher class there will be a teacher:student ratio of 46:1, so in the early formative years it is quite essential to have a teacher-student ratio of 20:1. That is the acceptable level in playschools anything more than that please avoid the school and anything less always welcome. As that would mean that teacher will pay individual attention to each child and help him or her in the developmental journey.
Have faith in your decision: once you have decided the school, trust that the school would best for your child. Also, I feel that you need to trust your child with his or her abilities and make him or her believe that they are unique and they will do well in life no matter what field they choose. We have to make them confident, independent and capable towards leading their life.

Remember: The most important school for a child is her home. No matter how good a school is, if the home environment is not good then your child is not going to benefit that much. A child has to feel happy, satisfied and content in her home. If they find a harmonious environment at home they can excel.
So go ahead, choose and decide which school is best for your child but at the same time don’t forget to love your child unconditionally and give all your attention to him or her. Also remember that a mother – you – is first and best teacher, a true counsellor and the best guide. So have faith and relax.
