Direct rail service is not available from Delhi to the Nainital railway station. The easiest way to reach Nainital is to use a train to get to the nearby station, then book a cab, taxi, or bus. Kathgodham Railway Station is the nearest railhead to Nainital. It is located 34 km away.
Nainital is a hill station and does not have direct air connectivity. A 65-kilometer drive from Nainital brings you to Pantnagar, the nearest airport.
