"My Baby's Skin Needs The Best Care" - A Mom Shares Her Story

It all started when I was getting wheeled into the operating room to undergo a C-section. I was drowsy because of all the sedatives; however, I still remember the thoughts that were clouding my mind. “What if my baby gets hurt in the process?” “Will he be fine?” (Oh yes, I knew it was going to be a boy – call it motherly instincts!) And guess what, I was right.

My fascinating story began with his first cry. And all I could think of is whether he is okay. It took me a day to finally get back to my senses, and while I was focussed on learning the tricks of breastfeeding, I found my husband and mother-in-law busy changing cloth nappies every hour. They said it was quite a tiresome affair! I came home with my munchkin a couple of days later. He was not picky about breastfeeding at all but the most challenging job was changing the cloth nappies so often! We kept changing them, washing them, drying them and the cycle went on and on. I remember telling my in-laws that we should shift to diapers but they insisted otherwise. After three months I realized my baby developed red rashes on his intimate areas; he was cranky most of the time; he had disturbed sleep during nights; and the worst was, he was often falling prey to cold due to wet nappies in the night. I did not like this one bit; I was worried and unhappy about not being able to do the best to take care of my child’s skin and overall health. Now that’s when, Shikha, my childhood friend suggested that I shift to Pampers. She somehow managed to convince my family members to at least give diapers a chance!

My husband and I went to the local medical store and we were advised by Sharma Ji (owner of the store) that Pampers was our best bet. So, we got it home.

How Did My Baby Respond To Diapers?

We put the diaper on the same night on our baby. We were apprehensive about how it will affect his sleep and skin. But, to my surprise, he slept for 6 hours straight that night! Oh, what a relief! When I woke up to his mild cry, I immediately focussed on the diaper to check if there is leakage or is it too wet and cold. I was surprised to see, the diaper was dry, it had soaked all the pee! And guess what, my baby’s skin was dry and clean.

This diaper became my go-to choice. It is so hygienic for my baby. Gradually, I noticed, the rashes on his skin started to disappear, my baby was less cranky and he was mostly playful. Oh, what a joy that was.

So mommies, take it from me. Cloth nappies may have worked for many of us but diapers are a

much better choice for your baby’s skin. No more getting up during odd hours to change leaky nappies; in fact, no more falling sick due to wetness in the nights. The diaper that I use for my son ensures his skin remains soft and supple and he feels comfy in moving around too; yes, the fitting is very apt too.

The wellness of my baby’s skin meant a lot to me and this product helped me and my little one. I hope it helps you and your baby too!
